Distorted Daydreams is an artist from the Bay Area. She studied Painting/Drawing and Ceramic Sculpture at California College of the Arts. Afterwards, she took a break from her artistic career. As of late, she has begun to revisit her creativity that she gave up on long ago. She has worked with such crews as Concrete Jungle and HJU. Her art has also been exhibited in the book Art Buzz: Dedicated to the Appreciation and Advancement of Contemporary Visual Art and its Creators.
Her work can be described as Surrealist or Creepy/Cute and ranges from startling juxtapositions to exploring the human experience through dreamlike and obscure figures. Her latest sci-fi/horror works have also been about how we feel like freaks or monsters within society. The altered faces and bodies represent these feelings externally. While growing up she was heavily influenced by punk rock culture, and in turn it enabled a D.I.Y. approach to her art.
